How the Bona system fits together
The products here aren't really separate categories so much as stages of one build. Primer choice affects which lacquer to use afterwards: Bona Classic pairs with a light, natural colouration, while Bona Natural is specifically formulated to keep an "unfinished" look under Mega Natural or Traffic Natural lacquers, and Bona White gives a washed effect that can be built up over multiple coats. Getting the primer right before ordering the lacquer avoids ending up with two products that don't actually work well together.

Maintenance and application accessories
Beyond the core finishing products, Bona's pad and cloth range covers most of what a job needs day to day: dusting pads and cleaning pads for the Bona mop system, buffing and oiling pads sized for 407mm buffers, and oiling cloths for working oil or hardwax oil into the wood by hand. Matching pad type to task matters, a scrad pad for fine sanding between coats does a different job to a wool oiling pad used to work in an oil finish, so it's worth checking what a specific job calls for rather than defaulting to whichever pad is on hand.
FAQ
Can I use a Bona primer with a different brand's lacquer? It's not recommended. Bona's primers are formulated to work with Bona's own lacquer systems, and mixing brands at the primer stage risks adhesion problems that only show up after the topcoat's already down.
What's the difference between Bona Mega and Bona Traffic HD? Mega is a one-component lacquer suited to typical domestic and light commercial wear, while Traffic HD is a two-component system built for much heavier use, letting full traffic resume after just 12 hours and outperforming Mega on durability. Traffic HD costs more and needs mixing, which is why it's usually reserved for commercial or very high-traffic jobs.
Do I need Bona Mix Colour if I'm already using a coloured primer? Not necessarily, they serve different purposes. Mix Colour is a pigment paste added into Bona Tone products for waterborne colour work, whereas a coloured primer like Bona White works independently underneath the lacquer. Combining both without a plan can overshoot the colour you're after.
